i am well pleased with myself......today i purchased new pots and pans (since the ones previously being used belong to the roommate who has moved out) which are eco-friendly ;)  normally, i don't like buying new things, preferring to go the route of previously owned, but i am very comfortable and happy with this decision....for those who may be confused about what i mean by eco-friendly, here is a bit of explanation.....

"This Eco-Friendly Cookware Set features the latest available technology in PTFE-FREE nonstick coating production to provide consumers an eco-friendly choice. Additionally, all materials selected to produce the eco-friendly cookware embrace the concepts of sustainable design, which means each cookware or packaging component can either return to the natural ecosystem through biodegradation, or be recycled at the end of the product's lifespan."

yes, i have no life, i'm posting about pots and pans.....no, i don't care that this makes me look pathetic ;)

Au contraire. Pots and pans are *well worth* the time and effort of careful selection. Personally, I prefer cookware that you could hurt somebody with -- heavy knives, cast iron, stoneware, etc.
